Who Won the Jet Ski at the Oscars 2018?

Here's the Lucky Winner of That £13,000 Oscars Jet Ski!

When Academy Awards host Jimmy Kimmel announced that there would be a grand prize for shortest acceptance speech of the night, we weren't sure what to expect . . . surely the £13K jet ski that Helen Mirren modelled wasn't actually going home with somebody at the end of the night, was it? But despite the fact that Jimmy's ploy for the award show to stay prompt and punctual failed miserably — it ran almost 50 minutes over the anticipated run time — somebody actually DID win the aquatic leisure mobile! So who was the lucky winner?

Congratulations to Mark Bridges, winner of the Best Costume Design award for his work in Phantom Thread. Mark ended the show by riding astride his new jet ski with Helen Mirren, which seems an exceptional reward for making his "thank you" speech concise! We'd keep things brief, too, if it meant a special moment with Helen and many years of watersports-related fun to come.
