The pair played love interests in the film and have been hanging out a lot recently [3]. So, what is the truth? Are they or aren't they a couple? Well, according to People, Zac and Alexandra have been "seeing each other [4] on and off" since 2017, but "they are not officially dating."

Alexandra also shot down dating rumours [5] when she attended the Billboard Music Awards back in May 2017. "We work together closely; he's my love interest in the film," she told E!'s Jason Kennedy. "I understand why people would go crazy over something like that, but Zac and I are very good friends."

Even though the 32-year-old actress may have previously said that they aren't a couple, a whole lot has happened since then.
