Modern Family's Nolan Gould Is 21, and Ariel Winter Wrote the Sweetest Birthday Message

Ariel Winter and Nolan Gould have built an adorable friendship since their time starring on Modern Family together. Based on Ariel's sweet 21st birthday message for Nolan, it looks like that friendship has only grown stronger. In an Instagram post on Monday, Ariel shared a few of her favourite photos of her onscreen brother. "On this day 21 years ago, my future fake brother turned real brother & best friend was born," the 21-year-old actress captioned the post. "I feel grateful and lucky every single day that I have you in my life."

The Modern Family star went on to write about growing up with Nolan and how special it's been to have him in her life from such a young age. "We've gone through almost every weird and awkward stage in our young lives together, and there's no one else I'd rather have done that with," she wrote. "You've always been here for me and I will ALWAYS be here for you. It's really special & rare to have a connection like ours in this industry/life so I just feel grateful for you!!! Thanks for being the best."

Best of all, Ariel took the time to officially welcome her "brother" into the over-21 club with a sweet invitation for drinks, and that's one great big sister. "Also . . . I can't believe we're both 21 considering it feels like just yesterday we were babies. Now let's go have a white claw and do an escape room and get you the spiciest thing on the menu at our fav Indian restaurant — [heart] little big sister."
