Arnold Schwarzenegger Self-Isolation Video With Pets

Arnold Schwarzenegger and His Pet Donkey and Pet Pony Encourage Others to Self-Isolate

Arnold Schwarzenegger is encouraging others to practice self-isolation, and he enlisted his pets for some help with sharing his message. On Sunday night, the former California governor posted a video explaining why he is staying home during the coronavirus outbreak. "The important thing is that you stay home because no one is allowed out, especially someone that is 72 years old," he said while feeding his pet donkey, Lulu, and pet pony, Whiskey. "We don't go out. We don't go to restaurants. We don't do anything like that anymore here. We just eat with Whiskey and Lulu, we have a good time."

On Sunday, California Governor Gavin Newsom announced the closure of the state's bars, nightclubs, breweries, and wineries and for restaurants to focus on takeout. He said all individuals age 65 and older should "practice home isolation."

Arnold is one of the many celebrities using their platforms to encourage followers to stay home during this time — although he's the first to do so alongside a donkey in his kitchen.
