On 3 Oct., the couple celebrated their 29th wedding anniversary by gushing about each other online. The former American first lady kept things short and sweet by posting a throwback photo of them hugging on a couch side by side with a recent photo, writing, "How it started vs. how it's going. Barack, on the other hand, wrote a longer caption as he praised all of his wife's accomplishments. "Happy anniversary, Miche!" he wrote. "Over the past 29 years, I've loved watching the world get to know you not just as a daughter of the South Side, but as a mother, lawyer, executive, author, First Lady, and my best friend. I can't imagine life without you."
