Happy birthday, Michelle Obama [1]! On Jan. 17, the Grammy-nominated Becoming author [2] turned 56 and got some extra love from fans on the 'gram. But none could hold a candle to the tribute from her beau, Barack. The former US president took to the platform to share a collage of snaps that show him and Michelle snuggling up in a photo booth. While two pictures feature the couple sharing a sweet smooch, the others show their playful sides as Barack holds up a peace sign and Michelle makes a silly face. "In every scene, you are my star, @MichelleObama!" Barack captioned the post. "Happy birthday, baby!"

It's been an exciting time for Michelle. On Jan. 7, she announced her new documentary series, A Year of Firsts [3], which will follow four first-year college students as they adjust to university life. The six-episode show is set to premiere sometime in January and will run through June. Michelle and Barack's production company, Higher Ground, also just received its first Oscar nomination [4] with the film American Factory [5] earning a nod for best documentary feature. Hopefully, Michelle's taking some time to celebrate her birthday and all of her accomplishments!
