Beyoncé [1] held a star-studded disco-themed extravaganza fitted for her "Renaissance" era over the weekend. In honour of her 41st birthday, the "Renaissance [2]" icon threw a roller disco skating party at a Bel-Air mansion on Sept. 10, per Glamour [3], with celebrities like Drake, Lizzo [4], Bella Hadid, Offset, Machine Gun Kelly, Megan Fox [5], Lily-Rose Depp, Zendaya [6], Vanessa Bryant, Michael B. Jordan, and, of course, husband JAY-Z all in attendance. Kim and Khloé Kardashian, Tristan Thompson, La La Anthony, Adele, Rich Paul, Halle Bailey and her boyfriend DDG, Storm Reid, Ciara, and Jaden Smith were also present.
Beyoncé officially celebrated her birthday on Sept. 4, and some of her closest friends made sure to shower her with love on her special day. "🎈HAPPY BIRTHDAY SIS🎈🎈Love you forever & EVER, and after that!! #BDAY!!!" wrote pal Kelly Rowland [7], who also attended Beyoncé's party, in an Instagram post [8].
Beyoncé's disco event comes just a few weeks after she threw a massive Club Renaissance party [9] in New York City in celebration of her latest album. The A-list guest list included folks like Michelle Williams [10], Kendrick Lamar, Leonardo DiCaprio [11], Normani, and Donald Glover, just to name a few. Following the gathering, the singer dropped a teaser for the first visual off her album, "I'm That Girl [12]," though it's still unclear when the remainder of the video, along with others for the rest of her project, will be released.
