Beyoncé's "Renaissance" era continues! On Friday, the 40-year-old icon dropped a teaser for the upcoming music video for "I'm That Girl," reminding her fans of her main character energy. In the short clip, Beyoncé is shown cooking up a meal in a metallic armor bodysuit. Visuals then cut to the singer having the time of her life at a club.
That same day, Beyoncé also released her collaboration with soul legends [1] Ronald Isley and The Isley Brothers, "Make Me Say It Again, Girl," a reimagining of their 1975 track "Make Me Say It Again Girl (Part 1 & 2)." The Isley Brothers first teased the song in a June 2021 Variety [2] interview, way before Beyoncé announced her "Renaissance" album. "She's recording her part by end of June or first week July," Kandy Isley said in the interview, referencing the "Break My Soul [3]" singer.
Beyoncé officially dropped "Renaissance [5]" on July 29, and it's currently No. 1 on the Billboard charts [6]. To celebrate its release, she held a star-studded Club Renaissance party [7] at New York City's Paradise Club.
