Tina Lawson must've known we needed some motivation to get through this week, and boy oh boy, did she deliver it. On Sunday evening, the famous mama shared a video of granddaughter Blue Ivy Carter putting her moves on display in dance class, and the phrase "she got it from her mama" never rang truer. In the clip, Blue breaks it down to Ciara's 2010 single "Gimmie Dat," chest popping with her arms to the beat like a freakin' pro. Tina couldn't help but call out Blue's striking resemblance to her aunt Solange in the caption, writing, "[This] is Blue but I swear it looks like Solange dancing at this age ❤️."
The best part of the video comes about three-quarters of the way through when Blue pauses, drops her arms, and glances around at her leotard-clad classmates. After essentially confirming that no else else has reached her level of expertise yet, she gets back to dancing right on beat. Frankly, I'm not even upset to admit that a 9-year-old has better rhythm than I ever will in my lifetime — I'm simply sitting back, taking notes, and bowing down. Go on and make Beyoncé proud, Blue!
