Following our second clap for the National Health Service (NHS), some of our favourite British and international celebrities joined England's chief nursing officer, Ruth May, to say "thank you" to the NHS in a heartwarming video.
"I want to say a very big, personal thank you to everyone working in the NHS and Social Care that are working so hard right now," says CNO Ruth May. "I also want to say thank you to those people who are re-joining our NHS at this time of our COVID-19 response. There are a few other people who would also like to share their thanks with you. . ." Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Sir Elton John, Michaela Coel, David Beckham, Stormzy, and Gordon Ramsay are just a few familiar faces that featured in the uplifting tribute, each holding their own sign with the hashtags #OurNHSPeople and #ThankYouNHS while sharing messages of gratitude.
