It's a royal red carpet event! On 11 Dec., the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge brought their children [1], Prince George, 7, Princess Charlotte, 5, and Prince Louis, 2, to a Christmas pantomime performance at the London Palladium. The family arrived in style [2], walking down the red carpet and waving with bright smiles. Most of them held hands, but Charlotte, being the independent royal she is, opted for a hands-free stride.
While Catherine modelled a long-sleeve dress with pumps, Prince William sported a blazer with a red jumper. The kids also dressed up for the occasion as George and Louis donned jumpers with trousers and Charlotte rocked a tartan frock with tights. The event marked the sibling trio's red carpet debut, adding to their list of 2020 "firsts [3]."
Their outing comes shortly after the Duke and Duchess wrapped their three-day mini-tour aboard the Royal Train [4]. During the 1,250-mile journey, the couple visited various sites across England, Scotland, and Wales to thank essential workers and charities for all of their work during the COVID-19 pandemic. Now, they get to wind down and enjoy some festive entertainment with the kiddos. Look ahead to see clips and photos of the Cambridge family at the gathering!
