In a New Year's post, the Metro Station musician shared, "I'm recently single & extremely thankful to have my family around me during this time." Before their breakup, Trace and Taylor announced their plans to wed in December 2018.

Following their highly publicized Las Vegas wedding in July 2019, Jake and Tana decided to part ways at the beginning of the new year. The YouTube stars both announced the split on their respective Instagram accounts. "It's best for us to focus on our lives & see what the future holds," Jake wrote. Meanwhile, Tana addressed the news, saying, "For right now we both are taking a break . . . This is coming from a place of nothing but love."
