Ciara and Russell Wilson Dressed as Beyoncé and JAY-Z For Halloween, and We're Going Apes**t
Ciara and Russell Wilson just wore the Halloween couples costume to end all couples costumes. The superstar pair, and one of our favourite couples, dressed as Beyoncé Knowles and JAY-Z from The Carters' epic 2018 music video for "Apes**t," and the attention to detail couldn't be more perfect.
Ciara and Wilson's costume was an homage to the opening scene of "Apes**t," where Beyoncé and JAY-Z are standing in front of Leonardo da Vinci's "Mona Lisa" at the Louvre Museum in Paris. Much like Bey and Jay, Ciara and Wilson wore matching suits. Ciara wore a lavender satin low-cut two-piece with red piping and a red knotted rope belt, a luxe diamond necklace, and matching earrings with red pointed-toe pumps. Her hair was styled in a wavy chestnut half-up ponytail. Wilson wore a bright turquoise double-breasted suit, a gold chain necklace featuring a pharaoh pendant, white sneakers, and black socks — just like JAY-Z.
The best part of the outfit is how they replaced the original painting reference of "Mona Lisa" from the "Apes**t" music video, which became a painting of Meghan Markle from Bey and JAY's Brit Awards acceptance speech, and added their own painting reference of Michelle and Barack Obama — genius.
