Congrats are in order for Demi Lovato and Max Ehrich! On Wednesday, July 23, the 27-year-old singer and actor confirmed her engagement to the 29-year-old actor in a heartfelt Instagram post, with pictures showing the moment Max proposed on the beach with her massive engagement ring in hand — taken by celebrity photographer and friend, Angelo Kritikos. "THANK YOU @angelokritikos FOR HIDING BEHIND ROCKS AND CAPTURING THE ENTIRE THING!!! I love you boo!!!" Demi wrote in her caption, underneath a touching caption to her new fiancé.

"I knew I loved you the moment I met you," Demi wrote about Max. "It was something I can't describe to anyone who hasn't experienced it firsthand but luckily you did too.. I've never felt so unconditionally loved by someone in my life (other than my parents) flaws and all. You never pressure me to be anything other than myself. In the sweet caption, Demi also wrote: "when I was a little girl, my birth dad always called me his 'little partner' - something that might've sounded strange without his southern cowboy like accent. To me it made perfect sense. And today that word makes perfect sense again but today I'm officially going to be someone else's partner," she shared.

Demi and Max have been dating for about five months. While PEOPLE confirmed their relationship on March 25, 2020, a few of their social media interactions had fans speculating they were an item before that.
