Dua Lipa Seems to Have Found Love With French Director Romain Gavras

Dua Lipa seems to have new love in her life. The "Barbie" star was first linked to French director Romain Gavras in February, and the pair made their romance red carpet official at the Cannes Film Festival in May.
The news about Gavras emerged a few months after Lipa revealed that she'd been enjoying the single life. She spoke about her relationship status in an 7 October, 2022, episode of her podcast "Dua Lipa: At Your Service" while interviewing Charli XCX for the iHeartRadio original series. "For me, this is the first year I've not been in a relationship for a very long time," Lipa revealed.
"It's been really great to just be alone and only think about myself and kind of be quite selfish."
After Charli XCX got real about her grounded relationship with George Daniel, drummer of The 1975, Lipa shared, "It's been really great to just be alone and only think about myself and kind of be quite selfish, which I've never really had the opportunity to do. But when you find someone that really softens you and calms you down . . . it makes a big difference."
