Ellie Goulding and Husband Caspar Jopling Welcome Their First Child Together

Ellie Goulding and Caspar Jopling are parents! On 2 May, Caspar announced "mom and baby are both happy and healthy" on Instagram after the couple welcomed their first child into the world. This exciting news comes just less than two months after Ellie revealed her pregnancy in February.

Ellie and Caspar married in September 2019. Around the same time they were celebrating their first anniversary, Ellie realised she was pregnant. "It was crazy because it was our one-year anniversary. That was not the plan. The thought of getting pregnant didn't seem like it could be a reality. Becoming pregnant kind of made me feel human. I want a better word than womanly, [but] — I have curves I've never had before. I'm enjoying it. My husband's enjoying it." Ellie leaned on the support of her friends like Princess Eugenie and Katy Perry who gave her "excellent advice" while she was expecting. We wish Caspar and Ellie all the best as they celebrate their new addition!
