This Nicki Minaj Wax Figure Has the Internet in a Tizzy

Who on Earth Approved This Nicki Minaj Wax Figure? 'Cause the Internet Just Wants to Talk

Welp, Madame Tussauds is at it again, stumping the internet with another botched celebrity wax figure. On Jan. 7, a statue allegedly modelled to look like Nicki Minaj was unveiled at the Madame Tussauds museum in Berlin, and it's . . . interesting, to say the least. The supposed doppelgänger mimics Nicki in the opening scene of her 2014 "Anaconda" music video — it's dripping in gold chains, sporting a lengthy ponytail, and crawling with its waxy derrière popped out. But the figure's overall facial features and skin tone totally miss the mark and have the internet responding with one giant, Mariah Carey-esque "I don't know her."

As it turns out, the wax figure in question isn't technically new, as it first debuted at the Madame Tussauds in Las Vegas in 2015. In fact, back then, Nicki herself seemingly gave the design her seal of approval, sharing a video of it on Instagram and writing, "YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO WTF?!?!?!?!??!?? Had no idea they were really doing this. 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍 I would've went to Vegas for this."

Regardless of the rapper's former endorsement, people on Twitter can't stop bashing the unsettling wax figure and agree that it should melt and disappear forever. Ahead, read all the funniest tweets to come from Madame Tussauds's latest flub.
