From a well-timed DM slide to a chance meeting on set, we never get tired of hearing how some of our favourite celebrity couples met. During an appearance on Late Night With Seth Meyers [1] on 4 May, Jodie Turner-Smith shared how she and husband Joshua Jackson [2] met, and let's just say, it's icon behaviour. "When I first met my husband, we had a one-night stand. We're in a two-, three-year one-night stand now," the 34-year-old told the host, who then asked if she'd been a Dawson's Creek [3] fan growing up. "Let's be real, who wasn't Team Pacey?" Jodie quipped with a grin.

If you're wondering how long she was able to keep her love of Dawson's Creek a secret, it was about a month. "I did not show my hand at all. I saw him before he saw me, and when I saw him, I was like, 'I want that.' And then when he saw me, I just pretended like I didn't see him," she added, revealing she'd been wearing Tessa Thompson's shirt from Sorry to Bother You. "So he shouts across the room, 'DETROIT!' And I was like, 'Uhhhhhh.' And then he came over." Guess his opening line worked, as the couple have been married since 2019 [4] and welcomed daughter Janie Jackson in May 2020.
