Jason Momoa Uninjured in Head-On Collision With Motorbike

Jason Momoa has survived a head-on collision with a motorcyclist, TMZ first reported on 24 July. The accident occurred on Old Topanga Canyon Road near Calabasas, CA, while Momoa was driving an Oldsmobile.

The California Highway Patrol (CHP) later confirmed the collision to CNN. The rider, named by CHP as Vitaliy Avagimyan, "crossed over the double yellow lines into the eastbound lanes, directly into the path of Jason Momoa's vehicle," a statement obtained by the outlet said. Continued the statement, "Mr. Avagimyan and his motorcycle collided with the left front of Mr. Momoa's vehicle. As a result of this collision, Mr. Avagimyan was ejected from his motorcycle. After the collision, Mr. Momoa exited his vehicle to assisted Mr. Avagimyan and was able to flag down passing motorist to call 9-1-1." Avagimyan was treated at a hospital for minor injuries, while Momoa was unharmed.

The collision occurred just a day after the "Aquaman" and "Dune" star shared a slideshow of his second Harley-Davidson fashion collaboration on Instagram. "So excited to share my second @harleydavidson collection with you all," he wrote. "Inspired by my love for vintage bikes and my home. We shot everything while racing in the dirt with my friends filming our new show On The Roam can't wait for you to see. I hope u enjoy the collection everything looks better dirty."

Momoa, who has two adorable kids, is set to reprise his role as Aquaman in the 2023 sequel, and he'll also appear in "Fast & Furious 10." He was most recently in the headlines for his relationship with Eiza González, whom he reportedly split from on 14 June but was spotted out with on 5 July.
