Lights, camera, mat talk! On Feb. 9, Jerry Harris from Netflix's Cheer [1] had the exciting opportunity to attend the Oscars as a correspondent [2] for The Ellen DeGeneres Show [3]. The 20-year-old Navarro College cheerleader brought his energy to the red carpet as he interviewed stars, such as Idina Menzel, Janelle Monáe, Billie Eilish [4], and Mindy Kaling.
He shared an especially cute moment with Billie as they congratulated each other on two impressive accomplishments: Billie's big night at the Grammys [5] on Jan. 26 and Jerry's NCA National Championship win [6] with his Navarro team.
