JoJo Announces Engagement to Dexter Darden: "Obviously I Said Yesss!!!"
JoJo is engaged to Saved By the Bell actor Dexter Darden. On Dec. 25, the "Leave (Get Out)" singer announced the exciting news on Instagram with her 2.3 followers. "forever with YOU? Sign me UP. celebrating Christmas a whole fiancé!!!" she captioned a series of cute candid photos and videos from the proposal. "the most thoughtful, creative, positive, handsome, strong, loving, uplifting human being asked me to marry him. so obviously I said YESSS!!!" She continued, "thank you for the most epic birthday surprise ever. and for flying out my mom, your mom, and both of our best friends to share in that incredible moment with us. you are one of one. LFG @dexterdarden."
Dexter shared the same carousel of photos and videos on his Instagram, even commenting on the post. "Yupppppp🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 thank you for being my forever 💍❤️," he wrote. It's unclear as to when the pair officially linked up, but they've been pretty private about their romance. Earlier this month though, Dexter opened up to POPSUGAR about the most romantic thing he's done for his fiancé. "My girlfriend [JoJo] was preparing for a tour, and I was leaving to go film [Chang Can Dunk]. We weren't going to have the opportunity to see each other for at least a month, so I called her manager to get her flight information," he said. "We both had a connecting flight back to Los Angeles that was leaving at the same time but from different cities. I changed my connecting flight to where she was taking off from just so that we could fly back to LA together." Aww! Something tells us that the Christmas Day engagement he planned tops anything else. Congrats to JoJo and Dexter on their engagement!
