The 29-year-old British actor has rightfully earned the title of Internet Boyfriend ever since his impactful turn in the penultimate season, which culminates with Eddie's tear-jerking sacrifice in the action-packed season finale. His powerful performance as the leader of the Dungeons & Dragons-playing Hellfire Club (and a shout-out from a global pop star) has led many fans to go digging into Quinn's dating history. Noah Schnapp (who plays Will Byers on the show) may have indirectly confirmed his fellow costar's single status. When Doja Cat, who had already publicly made her admiration for Quinn known, recently asked Schnapp to get her in contact with Quinn via Instagram DM, she quickly dropped in a follow-up message, writing, "wait no. does he have a gf?" The 17-year-old actor then responded, typing, "LMAOO slide into his dms." Instead of directly disclosing Quinn's current relationship status, Schnapp simply responded to the "Vegas" singer by sending a link to Quinn's profile.

Had Quinn been in a relationship to Schnapp's knowledge, Schnapp probably would have given Doja a heads up before sending her the link to Quinn's Instagram page. Their brief conversation (which Schnapp subsequently shared a snapshot of on TikTok without Doja's permission, prompting her to call his behaviour "socially unaware and wack") may suggest that Quinn's relationship status is single. Then again, Schnapp may have no knowledge of Quinn's relationship status and was simply passing on Quinn's profile so Doja could find out for herself.
