Joshua Jackson [1] and Jodie Turner-Smith have great red carpet chemistry. The actors, who have been married for two years [2], looked quite in love attending the 2022 Critics' Choice Awards [3] together on March 13 in Los Angeles. At one point, Jackson just stood back and watched in awe as Turner-Smith posed separately in her aqua Gucci gown. The couple's attendance was actually in celebration of Jackson, however, whose performance in "Dr. Death" earned him a nomination for best actor in a limited series or movie made for television.
It was a rare award show appearance for Jackson and Turner-Smith. The two were first linked after attending Usher's birthday party [4] in 2018. Jackson and Turner-Smith made their red carpet debut at the "Queen & Slim" premiere the following year, and by December 2019, news broke that they were married and pregnant with their first child. They attended the 2020 BAFTAs [5] back when they were expecting, and then welcomed their child [6] shortly after in April.
"I think it's really beautiful to be with someone who is so supportive and so loving," Turner-Smith said of Jackson in a People interview last year. "We're so similar in so many ways. We're like mirrors for each other. And I just really love that human being."
