Leigh-Anne Pinnock Posts Adorable Pictures of Her Twins on Their First Birthday

It's hard to believe it's been a year since Leigh-Anne Pinnock gave birth to her gorgeous twins. To mark the occasion, Pinnock told her nine million Instagram followers that she was "filled with so much emotion" as she posted several photos of her children on 16 Aug.

Alongside some sweet images of her growing babies playing together, a cute breastfeeding snap, several family photos, and a throwback selfie from the hospital, the "Little Mix" star writes: "Our cubbies turn one today 🥹🖤 I am filled with so much emotion, pride but mostly happiness. I never knew how this was going to change my life, being a mum to two incredible little bubbas. I am so so grateful and so lucky that I get to wake up to their smiles every morning 🥺. My life has a whole new meaning. I have been given a miracle and I will never have the words to express how thankful I am for it. ❤️❤️❤️"

It seems like only yesterday that the 30-year-old announced her pregnancy in an unforgettable social media photo — but it actually happened all the way back in May 2021. Time flies!

Previously, Pinnock has spoken about how close the twins are becoming as they grow older. Next to an adorable video she posted in July, she wrote: "The bond is growing and it's melting my heart, I can't believe my cubbies are 11 months mannnn ❤️🥹". We might not know the names of Pinnock's babies, but the mother-of-two frequently shares little nuggets of information about their developing relationship. In another Instagram post showing her twins holding hands, Pinnock notes that the tiny duo already have a "forever bond". We can't cope with the cuteness overload.

Fans had no clue Pinnock and footballer fiancé Andre Gray were expecting twins. The pregnancy announcement was accompanied with an ambiguous caption: "We've dreamed about this moment for so long and we can't believe the dream is finally coming true . . . we can't wait to meet you. ❤️" Mixers erupted with joy when, on 23 August 2021, the star revealed that she had in fact given birth to two babies a week earlier. She told her 9 million Instagram followers, "We asked for a miracle, we were given two... 🥺🖤 Our Cubbies are here 😍🖤16/08/21 🖤".

While Pinnock gives us glimpses of the twins every now and then, she understandably wants to keep their identities private. "I'm just trying to keep it as private as possible for as long as possible. It was a decision we made at the time because [the attention] was freaking me out a little bit," she said in an interview ahead of "Little Mix"'s final pre-hiatus show at London's O2 arena earlier this year.

Like something from a best-friend fairytale, fellow bandmate Perrie Edwards was pregnant at the same time: she gave birth to baby boy Axel, whom she shares with fiancé and Liverpool footballer Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, just a week after Pinnock's twins were born. The 29-year-old frequently shares wholesome snaps with her son, and we can't get enough of them. "Little Mix" member Jade Thirwall, who is dating Rizzle Kicks's Jordan Stephens, has said that Pinnock and Edward's babies are "so beautiful" and that she hopes to be "the best Auntie" she can be. We know that Thirwall will be coolest honorary auntie on the planet to these lucky cherubs.
