The Aussie actor briefly sparked dating rumours with Dynasty star Maddison Brown in October when they were caught canoodling in NYC [3], but those rumours just as quickly fizzled out. However, just a few months later, Liam was spotted introducing a new boo to his parents, and we were given a whole new maybe-romance to ship. We're still not sure how Liam met 23-year-old model and fellow Aussie Gabriella Brooks, but here's everything we do know about their burgeoning relationship.
Dec. 13, 2019: Liam Introduces Gabriella to His Family
Though it's unclear when Liam and Gabriella actually met themselves, Gabriella reportedly met Liam's parents, Craig and Leonie, on Dec. 13 while visiting Byron Bay. The two were spotted on what appeared to be a lunch date with Liam's parents at The Roadhouse restaurant, and from the looks of the photos published by the Daily Mail, Gabriella was quick to fit in [5] with the Hemsworth clan. A source for E! News claimed that the two refrained from acting too handsy [6] during lunch. "They did not show off any PDA," the source said, "but the two did go back to Liam's house after the restaurant." Gabriella also shared a photo on Instagram [7] on Nov. 30 from Byron Bay, which she simply captioned, "Byron <3."
Dec. 21, 2019: Source Says Liam Is "Happy to Be Moving On"
A week after their supposed lunch date, a source for Us Magazine reported that Liam's brief romance with Dynasty star Maddison Brown was nothing more than a fling [8]. "Liam and Maddison weren't that serious and were mainly having fun together," the source said. The source also said that the actor was "happy to be moving on" after his divorce from Miley Cyrus [9]. "Liam feels comfortable with Gabriella," claimed the source, later adding, "His family approves of her and really likes her, which is very important to him."
Jan. 1, 2020: Liam and Gabriella Seemingly Spend New Year's Together
On Jan. 2, Gabriella and Liam's mutual friend, Silvia Serra, shared a series of photos from a New Year's Eve celebration in Bryon Bay. The sixth and seventh photos feature Gabriella in a couple of group shots, while the ninth photo in the series includes Chris Hemsworth creeping in the back of a group photo. Chris' wife, Elsa Pataky, is also featured in several photos. Though Liam isn't pictured at all, we can't help but suspect that he was also present for the festivities. Five days later, Gabriella shared two pictures [10] on her own page of just her and Silvia from the party. Oh, and did we mention that Silvia is the wife of Elsa's half-brother [11], Cristian Prieto Medianu? Whether Liam was at the party or not, it's clear that Gabriella has been accepted into the Hemsworth network.
Jan. 13, 2020: Liam and Gabriella Are Spotted Kissing on the Beach
A few weeks into the new year, New Idea shared photos of Liam and Gabriella engageing in some major PDA [12] on a Byron Bay beach, making their relationship pretty damn clear. The two spent their Jan. 13 beach date goofing around in the water and cuddling on the sand, looking totally loved-up.
Jan. 15, 2020: Source Says Liam and Gabriella Are Getting "Serious"
Just two days after their beach date make-out sesh, People reported that things were starting to get serious [13] with Liam and his new lady. "Liam and Gabriella have spent a lot of time in Australia together," an insider revealed to the magazine. The source also confirmed that the two share similar interests — such as exercising, surfing, and hitting up the beach — and that Liam's friends all approve of her. "Liam has been in a great mood," the source added.
Jan. 25, 2020: Liam and Gabriella Have Lunch in Malibu
Toward the end of January, Liam and Gabriella were photographed on a casual breakfast date [14] at Soho House in Malibu, CA. The two were spotted looking cute while waiting at the valet stand outside of the exclusive eatery.
Feb. 3, 2020: Liam and Gabriella Make Out in LA
The duo packed on the PDA for a second time in February outside of a gym in LA, where Liam was wearing workout clothes and Gabriella seemingly met up with him after his sweat sesh. Liam and Gabriella were photographed in an embrace [15] while sharing a few kisses.
Feb. 4, 2020: Liam and Gabriella Get Dinner in LA
Most recently, the couple was spotted on a dinner date [16] at Terroni restaurant in West Hollywood, and — just a day later — on a lunch date [17] in LA after Liam returned from another gym session. Where will the couple be spotted next? Only time will tell!
