On Wednesday, the singer stopped by the Foodbank Australia warehouse in Melbourne [2] to pack hampers and provide relief to those affected by the brush fires taking over parts of the country. The relentless fires have left widespread damage, taking the lives of an estimated one billion animals [3] and over 20 people, and has left millions of acres destroyed. Lizzo [4] took time in between her touring schedule to help those in need. She spent time with the volunteers and packed boxes of emergency food and water [5] to be delivered to the communities.
The fires have been burning since September, and have caused devastating loss [6] to the country. Lizzo is one of the many celebrities who's expressed concern over the heartbreaking disaster.
