Monday, Aug. 31, marked the 23rd anniversary of Princess Diana's death [4], and Prince Harry and Meghan Markle [5] made sure to honour her memory during a special visit to Los Angeles's Preschool Learning Centre. While helping children replant their learning garden for the autumn season, an annual activity for the school, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex [6] brought forget-me-not seeds, which were Diana's favourite flowers [7].

According to a press release, Harry and Meghan also spent time reading books to the students about gardening, vegetables, and planting. The couple had previously volunteered at the Preschool Learning Centre, which is only a few blocks from Meghan's former high school [8], Immaculate Heart.

Meghan and Harry's visit comes just a little over a month after their move to Santa Barbara [10]. During a recent virtual chat with The Queen's Commonwealth Trust [11], we got a glimpse of their stunning California home. It's also believed that Meghan's Q&A with Gloria Steinem [12] took place in the pair's backyard [13].
