I truly never knew I needed Meghan Trainor, James Corden, and Dr. Phil to sing "All About That Bass" together, but now that it's happened, I'm feeling especially blessed and grateful. This somewhat unexpected performance unfolded during Meghan's Carpool Karaoke session [1] on Thursday night's episode of The Late Late Show With James Corden [2], and it was quite the delightful surprise.

After Meghan and James flawlessly harmonised on some of the singer's hits, including "Like I'm Gonna Lose You" and "Nice to Meet Ya," they got on the topic of Meghan's love for Dr. Phil. The 26-year-old star admitted that she "worships" the TV personality and has watched every episode of his show "multiple times." As soon as Meghan revealed that fun fact, she saw Dr. Phil himself approaching the car in her side-view mirror and promptly lost her sh*t — we're talkin' full-on hyperventilation.

"I'm gonna throw up, I'm so excited. Your teeth look so good!" she adorably exclaimed once Dr. Phil was settled in the back seat of James's car. The trio proceeded to belt out "All About That Bass" together, thus making the dream we never knew we had come true.
