Meryl Streep, Christine Baranski, and Audra McDonald Drinking in Dressing Gowns Is My New Aesthetic

Meryl Streep [1], Christine Baranski, and Audra McDonald wearing dressing gowns and drinking cocktails was the collaboration we didn't know we needed but certainly deserved after how 2020 has been going. We have the Take Me To The World: A Sondheim 90th Birthday Celebration, which happened on Sunday as a fundraiser for ASTEP (Artists Striving to End Poverty), to thank for this.

The trio sang "The Ladies Who Lunch" from Sondheim's Company (which is also the musical behind Adam Driver singing "Being Alive" [2]). Not to be outdone by the rest of the star-studded concert, which included a performance by Beanie Feldstein and Ben Platt [3], they each poured their drink of choice (Christine with red wine, Meryl with a martini, and Audra with bourbon) while wearing a luxurious dressing gown [4]. Watching them belt out the tune had me yelling "another vodka stinger" to my computer in an effort to feel a part of the group. If you'd like to feel a part of the group, just throw on a dressing gown pour your drink of choice, and watch the full clip above.
