The 2020 BAFTAs are under way at the Royal Albert Hall in London and — we're calling it early — we already have our favourite moment from the night. Sure, the red carpet was filled with gorgeous celebrities and beautiful gowns, but what we're all really here for is Micheal Ward and Daniel Kaluuya's bromance. The pair showed off their friendship both on the red carpet and backstage in the winners' room, and yep, it's basically the best thing about the BAFTAs this year.
Micheal and Daniel appear to have been friends for some time, and they were last seen hanging out at Jeezy's birthday celebration back in October 2019. The past year has been a big one for Micheal, with starring roles in Blue Story and Netflix's Top Boy, and tonight he claimed the much-deserved EE Rising Star Award — an honor that's voted on by the public. After winning the award, Daniel joined him in the winners' room and the pair immediately started celebrating.
Daniel (who recently starred in Queen & Slim) won the same award back in 2018, and it looks like he gave Micheal a very warm welcome to the club. Ahead, see Micheal and Daniel celebrate in the winners' room.
