In honour of the upcoming release of Barack Obama's new memoir [1], A Promised Land [2], Michelle Obama [3] made a touching tribute to the hard work that's gone into the book. On Friday, Michelle posted an adorable photo of the pair [4] on Instagram, mentioning that she couldn't wait for the book's Nov. 17 release and for her husband to "experience what I did after my memoir was published."

Michelle went on to add, "It's now been two years since Becoming came out [5] and I couldn't be more thankful for all the stories and conversations [6] that people from all over the world have shared with me. That has been the most rewarding part of writing Becoming – hearing from all of you as you discovered a new beauty in your own journey." In Becoming, Michelle recalled her journey from Chicago to the White House, whereas A Promised Land will focus on Barack's political rise and his time in the White House.
