Prepare for cuteness overload, team, because Mixed-ish star, Mykal-Michelle Harris sat down with Jimmy Kimmel on Monday night for a very sweet interview. In the first few seconds of their conversation, it's clear that Mykal-Michelle has more confidence in her little finger than I do in my entire being, which I love. She expertly zips through Jimmy's question with the ease of a seasoned pro.
First, she hilariously describes her regular school (the one she attended before scoring the role of Santamonica Johnson on Mixed-ish, and switching to home school) as a "brick-and-mortar" which was adorable and, honestly, very clever. Jimmy is all of us when he says, "no, technically, you're totally right [calling it a brick-and-mortar], but from a practical standpoint, that is an insane thing for a seven-year-old to say."
Next, she launches into a story about the time she met Mariah Carey before giving a wonderfully detailed description of a landline phone that made me feel like I was roughly 100-years-old. Her finisher — a sweet rendition of Madonna's iconic '80s hit, "Material Girl" — was just the cherry on top of this interview, which you can watch in full above.

Now, if someone could just teach me how to have this much confidence, that would be great.
