On March 30, the eldest daughter of Vanessa and Kobe Bryant [1] documented the exact moment she found out she'd been accepted to the University of Southern California, and it immediately lit up smiles across the internet. "I got in! I got in!" Natalia cheered as Vanessa beamed with pride. "Tears of joy," the proud mama wrote on Instagram. "I'm SO happy for you Nani! I know daddy is so PROUD OF YOU. I am so PROUD OF YOU!! Your hard work and dedication was so worth it. You pushed through the most excruciating pain imaginable and you succeeded. I mean, I never thought I'd be shedding actual tears over someone else's college acceptance, but it's impossible not to think about how truly special this moment was for the Bryant family [2]. In anticipation of the admissions decision day, Vanessa had a huge surprise waiting for her daughter in their guest room. The room was filled with USC merchandise, cardinal and gold balloons, and a custom pair of Kobe's signature Nike shoes that Vanessa said took three months to make!
