Nick Kroll Needed Harry Styles's Help With His Engagement — Yes, For Real

As if 2020 couldn't get any weirder, it seems that Harry Styles was the first person to know that Nick Kroll and Lily Kwong are engaged. During Nick's Nov. 30 appearance on The Tonight Show, he revealed to Jimmy Fallon that Don't Worry Darling costars Florence Pugh and Harry were actually a big help when it came to popping the question. "I was at the table read with them, and I knew I wanted to propose, and I hadn't really been able to talk to anybody," he told the host. "I was just spitballing with Flo and H-Bomb, and Olivia."

Harry apparently has a sixth sense because just as Nick and Lily were going to call their parents about the news, he texted Nick to see if he'd asked yet. "So Harry Styles was the first person to know that we were getting married, before my parents, before Lily's parents, before anybody. Harry was the first person to know, and he gave us his blessing, and it meant the world," Nick said to an incredulous Jimmy. Nick and Lily tied the knot on Nov. 19 and are currently expecting their first child together.
