Nicola and Brooklyn Peltz Beckham Celebrate First Wedding Anniversary: "Here's to Many More Years"

Brooklyn and Nicola Peltz Beckham have one year of marriage in the books! On 9 April, the couple — who tied the knot a year ago in Palm Beach, Florida — marked the special milestone by returning to Florida to celebrate with their families, including Brooklyn's parents, Victoria and David Beckham, and Nicola's grandmother, Naunni, who served as her maid of honour.

Nicola commemorated her and Brooklyn's anniversary on Instagram, sharing photos from the family-filled celebration. "I can't believe it's been a year since I walked down the aisle. I love you so much baby. I love being your wife. I couldn't imagine my life without you 💘 you are everything I've ever dreamt of and I'm so happy I get my life with you," the 28-year-old actor wrote. "Today was so amazing celebrating with our families! I hope everyone had a beautiful Easter! (I also surprised my naunni with a rescue puppy 😭😭 and she was so happy!) 🥰🐣💘✨💖."

Brooklyn expressed similar sentiments on his Instagram, writing, "1 year ago today I married my best friend xx I am the luckiest person to be able to call you my wife x you are my everything and I am the luckiest person on this earth to be able to wake up next to your gorgeous face every morning x here's to many more years baby xx I love you so so so much x here's to having as much fun when we are old as we are now young ❤️❤️."

Victoria and David also got in on the anniversary fun, posting sweet tributes for the couple on their page and Instagram Stories. "So special to be together to celebrate your 1st wedding anniversary 💕 we love you @brooklynpeltzbeckham @nicolaannepeltzbeckham @davidbeckham," Victoria wrote.

Nicola and Brooklyn's one-year anniversary comes amid the ongoing lawsuit between Nicola's father, Nelson Peltz, and wedding planners Nicole Braghin and Arianna Grijalba of Plan Design Events following the pair's April 2022 wedding. In December 2022, Nelson filed a lawsuit against the planners on grounds that he did not receive the $159,000 deposit back after the duo were let go nine days into the job, just six weeks before the wedding ceremony, as per People. According to The Cut, Braghin and Grijalba have since responded to Nelson's claims with a countersuit that alleges he was a "billionaire bully" whose family made the wedding-planning process a nightmare.

Recently, a source close to Nicola told Closer that she is planning to redo her wedding day. "For Nicola, as she approaches the first wedding anniversary, she looks back on the day as stressful from start to finish," the insider said. "The whole thing was a nightmare. She was far from completely happy with the wedding, the build-up with the three different planners, and associates it now with rows, issues and tension between the families."
