North West Holds Up Stop Sign at Paris Fashion Week

Kim Kardashian Explains North West's Funny "Stop" Sign at Paris Fashion Week

North West has a clear message for the photographers constantly snapping photos of her: "STOP." The 9-year-old trendsetter has been making headlines all week with her mother, Kim Kardashian, at Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week, but on 6 July, West was spotted sitting front row at the Jean-Paul Gaultier Haute Couture autumn/winter 22-23 runway show with her handmade "Stop" sign.

The following day, Kardashian gave a little more context on Twitter behind West's funny note. "For anyone who knows North knows how funny she finds this video," she tweeted alongside a video of her daughter holding up the sign. "North I guess had it with the people taking pictures of her so she wrote on her invite STOP and held it up and wanted them to just focus on the show."

This isn't West's first time calling out photographers. Earlier this week, West asked photographers, "Why do you have to wait for us all the time?" while leaving a restaurant with her family, as per a fan video posted online, which prompted one photographer to yell back, "Because you're so famous! We love you, North!" Even in 2017, the then-3-year-old repeatedly yelled "No pictures!" at photographers snapping away at her and her family at the Museum of Ice Cream in LA.

West and Kardashian have been spending a lot of quality time together during Fashion Week. From rocking matching nose rings with her mum to paying homage to dad Kanye West, West made a moment of her latest Fashion Week appearance, and Kardashian was thrilled to have her right by her side. "As a mom I'm so grateful that my daughter loves coming with me on my work trips and I am able to bring her and create these memories together along with my mom," the Skims cofounder tweeted on 7 July.
