Every festive season we await the Sussex family Christmas card, and this year, the now family of four used the opportunity to share a message that's close to their hearts. On 23 Dec., Meghan Markle and Prince Harry released this year's holiday card with an announcement that they'd be donating to several organisations that work to protect families. They also gave an adorable shoutout to their newest family member: baby Lilibet.

The photo featured on the card was taken by photographer Alexi Lubomirski (who also shot the couple's engagement pictures) at the couple's home in Santa Barbara, CA. The sweet photo sees both Prince Harry and Meghan sat with their son, Archie, (who has an adorable mop of red hair now) and holding a laughing Lilibet.

The card was shared on Team Rubicon's website, which is an international nongovernment organisation specialising in disaster response. The read reads: "Happy Holiday, This year, 2021, we welcomed our daughter, Lilibet, to the world. Archie made us a 'Mama' and a 'Papa', and Lili made us a family. As we look forward to 2022, we have made donations on your behalf to several organizations that honor and protect families – from those being relocated from Afghanistan, to American families in need of paid parental leave." In addition to Team Rubicon, those organisations included Welcome.US, Human First Coalition, Humanity Crew, Paid Leave For All, PL+US, and Marshall Plan for Moms.

The Sussexes signed off the card with "Wishing you a happy holiday season and a prosperous New Year, from our family to yours! As ever, Harry, Meghan, Archie & Lili." Check out the card ahead.
