Prince Harry's philanthropic efforts continue to be a bright spot for all of us amid the coronavirus pandemic. Even though he's no longer a senior member of the royal family and he and Meghan Markle are now living in LA, Harry is still very much devoted to helping those in need and supporting causes that are close to his heart. On Sunday, the prince filmed a special message for the UK's OnSide Youth Zones. The organisation provides social centres for young people living in underprivileged areas, and Harry had the pleasure of attending the OnSide Awards this past November.
"This too shall pass, and before you know it, you will be back together again."
"I remember meeting so many incredible people and hearing your stories, stories of strength, of determination, of resilience, but ultimately of courage. And as I said to all of you that night and I'll repeat it again — hats off to every single one of you for surviving but also for thriving," Harry began his message. "I can only imagine the last six weeks has made it even more challenging. This too shall pass, and before you know it, you will be back together again. Probably in a Youth Zone, you know, running around having the best time ever."
Harry has been a supporter of OnSide for a few years now, and his message comes nearly two weeks after Smart Works shared a heartwarming Instagram video of Meghan surprising one of its clients before a job interview back on 27 March. Just like Harry, the Duchess of Sussex offered some words of encouragement to a young woman, and frankly, we could all use the advice. Watch Harry's inspiring message above.
