In case you forgot, Nick Jonas [1] and Priyanka Chopra are the textbook definition of loved-up newlyweds. On Thursday night, both Priyanka and Nick shared photos celebrating the Hindu holiday Karva Chauth, the first for the duo as married couple.

We imagine the holiday is particularly special to Priyanka [2] this year. The tradition (which is celebrated widely in northern India, in particular) is observed by married women who fast from sunrise to moonrise for the safety and longevity of their husbands. Originally, it was celebrated as a prayer for soldiers fighting at war, but today it commonly refers to the long life of their husband.

In the first photo, the pair are sitting together on a sofa, both looking blissfully happy. Priyanka is dressed in a traditional saree dress, while Nick didn't change into a traditional outfit himself until later in the evening. "Karwa chauth at a @jonasbrothers concert. Definitely a first I'll always remember! 😂❤️🙏🏽," Priyanka wrote in the caption.

"My wife is Indian. She is Hindu, and she is incredible in every way," Nick captioned his photo. "She has taught me so much about her culture and religion. I love and admire her so much, and as you can see we have fun together. Happy Karva Chauth to everyone!"
