Prepare for an immediate spike in cuteness levels, because Reese Witherspoon [2] posted a few throwback photos of her mom, Betty, for her birthday, and we might be seeing double. In a slideshow on her Instagram account on Tuesday, Reese shared a picture of a newspaper clipping from her mom's days as a nurse [3], followed by a sweet selfie of them together and a photo of her mom's nursing student ID card from 1969. Does anyone else think Reese looks exactly like her mom?? Considering how similar Reese and her daughter Ava Phillippe look [4], the three of them could have been triplets. "Happy Birthday to my mom, Betty! No one makes me laugh & smile like her," Reese captioned the post.
In honour of her mom's hard work as a nurse and the years she dedicated to teaching her nursing students, Reese also took the time to shout out the medical workers on the frontlines [5]. "I love this photo of her as a young nurse just starting out . . . and with a great nurse hat might I add," she wrote. "Shout out to all the nurses out there! She also taught nursing for 30 years at @tennstateu . . . I always wonder how many of her nursing students are out in the world helping people. Mom always said a life of serving others is the best life to have. I agree [100]. Love you Mom! Have the best Birthday! [sic] I will be there to hug you so soon!"
