Watch Reese Witherspoon and Ellen Compete Over Who's Better Friends With Beyoncé

Few things are quite as entertaining as Reese Witherspoon and Ellen DeGeneres playfully competing about who's better friends with another celebrity. After hilariously battling it out over Jennifer Aniston's coveted BFF title last year, the two stars just went head-to-head again to see who's closer to Beyoncé and JAY-Z — and TBH, we might have a tie.

During a previously recorded appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show that aired Monday, Reese presented her case by giving a play-by-play recount of that time she bonded with JAY-Z over a bottle of Champagne at the Golden Globes. "We had run out of water at our table, so I was thirsty and so was [Jennifer] Aniston, who was sitting next to me . . . so I was like, 'Excuse me, Jay-Z . . . can I have some Champagne?'" Reese recalled, using her own version of a French accent. She added that after the show, the rapper sent her an entire case of bubbly, to which Ellen shot back, "Yes, he sent me a case also. Don't act like you're the special one. We all got cases."

Then the two got on the topic of Beyoncé mailing each of them pieces from her Ivy Park x Adidas collection. "Beyoncé sent me clothes, and then she sent you clothes," Ellen explained. But Reese one-upped her, saying, "No no no, she sent me clothes, and then I was like, 'I think Ellen might like these,' and then she sent them to you." The Little Fires Everywhere actress went on to lightheartedly brag, "Beyoncé and I are really good friends — I mean, really, really, really, really, really good friends.
