It will come as no surprise that actor Regé-Jean Page is universally acknowledged as being a very handsome man, but now we have the scientific proof to back it up. The "Bridgerton" star's face was scientifically analysed using the Greek Golden Ratio of Beauty Phi, an ancient system that measures physical perfection via the symmetry of someone's face, and Page's was found to be 93.65 percent accurate. And so he has been declared as the world's most handsome man.

The scientific "Golden Ratio" was used by Leonardo Da Vinci and the mathematical formula has since been adapted to decipher what makes someone typically "beautiful". The length and width of someone's face is measured and the results are divided. The closer the ratios are to the Phi number (1.618), the more aesthetically beautiful they are declared.

Using the latest computerised mapping techniques, Harley Street facial cosmetic surgeon Dr Julian De Silva, says: "These brand new computer mapping techniques allow us to solve some of the mysteries of what it is that makes someone physically beautiful and the technology is useful when planning patients' surgery." He went on to declare that Page, who is tipped to be in the running to play James Bond, received high scoring for eye spacings and positioning of his eyes, and the shape of his lips.

Page's attractiveness was closely followed by "Thor"'s Chris Hemsworth (93.53 percent), "Black Panther"'s Michael B Jordan (93.46 percent), "As It Was" singer Harry Styles (92.30 percent), and England footballer Jude Bellingham (92.22 percent). All fine specimens, we can agree. While the "Dungeons and Dragons" actor, who is dating Emily Brown, is undoubtedly handsome, we all know beauty is really in the eye of the beholder. So take the scientific analysis as a bit of fun, although googling images of this list is permitted.
