Schitt's Creek Cast Reunites For Emmys in Toronto

The Schitt's Creek Cast Had the Most Wholesome Reunion to Go With Their Historic Emmys Wins

The official Emmys ceremony might have just been Jimmy Kimmel hosting live from Staples Centre with no audience (except for Jason Bateman) and no red carpet, but that wasn't stopping the Rose family! On Sunday night, the cast and crew of Schitt's Creek gathered for a private Emmys watch party in Toronto and had a wonderfully wholesome night full of tears, laughter, and wins! The show's official Twitter page revealed that the cast and crew had been in isolation since returning negative COVID-19 tests and were adhering to Ontario's COVID-19 guidelines, ensuring a safe and fun night is had by all!

The cult-favourite Canadian sitcom scored nine historic wins out of their 15 Emmy nominations for the final season of it's six-season run, which is absolutely a reason to raise a glass of Herb Ertlinger fruit wine! (Although we don't recommend actually drinking it.) Catherine O'Hara, Annie Murphy, Dan Levy, and Eugene Levy each earned an Emmy for their Rose family roles, with Dan also winning for writing and directing.

If you really want to get into your feels, you'll notice that Dan's Thom Browne outfit is a super-sweet nod to David Rose's wedding look, which also featured a pleated kilt, black combat boots, and mismatched socks. The memories! Scroll ahead for a look at the Schitt's Creek family together again looking their best, sweeping the comedy category in a huge #SchittsSweep, and reminding us exactly how perfect the show was.
