Serena Williams has a close friendship with Meghan Markle [1], but she isn't about to dish all the details about their relationship. While chatting with sister Venus Williams and Naomi Campbell [2] for the model's YouTube series, the tennis player expertly dodged a question about the Duchess of Sussex. When asked how she felt about Meghan moving to the US following her royal exit [3], Serena joked, "I don't know what you're talking about, don't know nothing about that." She then pulled a Mariah Carey [4] adding, "Never seen her, never heard of her, don't know her . . ."

Though Serena clearly wants to respect Meghan's privacy during her transition back to the US, she has given us a few glimpses of their cute friendship over the years. In addition to attending Prince Harry and Meghan's royal wedding in May 2018 [5], she also called Meghan the "strongest" and "nicest" person she knows [6] during an interview in November 2019.
