Few television families are as weird and dysfunctional as the bunch on Netflix's The Umbrella Academy [1]. The show, based on Gerard Way's Dark Horse comics [2], follows the entertainingly convoluted exploits of the super-powered Hargreeves children [3] — Vanya (Ellen Page), Luther (Tom Hopper), Diego (David Castañeda), Allison (Emmy Raver-Lampman), Klaus (Robert Sheehan), Ben (Justin H. Min), and Number Five (Aidan Gallagher). It's hard not to love this group of ragtag heroes [4], especially because they seem to be close in real life.
