It's been a long, hot summer with heatwaves all over the UK, and the latest snaps of Tom Holland clutching a portable fan perfectly sums up the mood of the nation. As he was spotted filming in New York for his latest role in Apple TV's upcoming series "The Crowded Room", Holland was also sporting shoulder-length brunette waves that also gave us flat, heatwave hair vibes. This is all of us, right?

The Spider-Man actor took to the set in a crewneck top, a brown half-zip sweater, flared jeans, and brown boots to play the character of Danny Sullivan. With temperatures nearing 35°C in New York City, it's no wonder Holland needed a little help from a fan keeping cool. We can relate. Holland's newest role is loosely based on Billy Milligan, also known as the "Campus Rapist", and was the subject of a famous court case in the late 1970s where he was the first person to be acquitted from a crime for the reason of insanity. It suddenly makes a lot more sense why Holland was dressed in retro flares with a hippy-inspired wig.

Holland, who celebrated his 26th birthday in June and got an adorable Instagram tribute from girlfriend Zendaya, was filming alongside costar Sasha Lane, who you are likely to recognise from the BBC's "Conversations With Friends". Her costume is making us sweat just looking at her as she was dressed in flared jeans, a turtleneck black top, and a leather jacket.

Despite the sweltering temperatures, Holland still looks as cute as ever. We can't wait to see him star in the new series looking totally different from his usual style. And he gets even more appreciation from us for the fact he was filming in this heat. We salute you, Holland!
