Thanks to the All In Challenge, Celebrities Are Changing Lives Amid the Coronavirus Outbreak

16/04/2020 - 02:45 PM

Celebrities are quite literally going all in to help others amid the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak [1]. Since April 14, stars have been participating in the All In Challenge to raise money for those struggling with food insecurity. The digital fundraiser was started by sports retail company Fanatics and will benefit hunger relief organisation America's Food Fund, which was cofounded by Leonardo DiCaprio [2]. The challenge will also support Meals on Wheels [3] and No Kid Hungry [4] by donating 100 percent of the proceeds.

So, how does the All In Challenge work [5]? There are two approaches: famous figures either encourage their fans to donate money in exchange for a "once in a lifetime" meeting or they auction off some of their prized possessions. Thus far, a handful of stars have thrown their hats in the ring. Do you dream of Justin Bieber serenading you at your house [6]? Have you always wanted to play basketball with NBA legend Magic Johnson or go on a double date with Ciara and Russell Wilson [7]? Or, hey, why not act alongside Leo and Robert De Niro [8] in a Martin Scorsese-directed film? None of those scenarios are beyond the realms of possibility anymore, so long as you pitch in for the cause. Look ahead to see how celebrities are taking part in the charity event, then visit the official All In Challenge auction and donation website [9] to contribute!
