Most recently the lead of Netflix's Living With Yourself, alongside Paul Rudd, Aisling wrote and starred in Channel 4's This Way Up and played a minor role in Nick Hornby's 12-part series State of the Union with Chris O'Dowd and Rosamund Pike. She's just been commissioned by Channel 4 to write to a series with Catastrophe's Sharon Horgan, and we're sure there's a whole lot more coming — which is exactly why she's one to watch. Aisling first got people talking at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2012, taking the crown in the renowned So You Think You're Funny comedy competition. Since then, she cemented her career in comedy with sold-out shows across the UK before establishing herself onscreen. Image Source: Everett Collection Aisling's been a panel regular on Channel 4's 8 Out Of 10 Cats, BBC1's Would I Lie To You, and James Corden's A League of Their Own, all of which led to her winning a British Comedy Award for Best Female TV Comedian in 2014. From there, her profile has only increased, with leading roles in British sitcoms Trollied, The Delivery Man, Cardinal Burns, and Dead Boss, as well as the award-winning American drama The Fall. When she's not busy making us laugh out loud onscreen, you can follow Aisling offscreen via her down to earth and totally relatable Instagram account. So many people who bleed cannot afford sanitary care, some gals stay home from school. Some people say “but they’re so cheap in Lidl” Yes, so imagine how bad it is that some people can’t afford it.
