Model, writer, activist, and mum Emily Ratajkowski is constantly in the spotlight [1], whether it be for various modelling or acting gigs, advocating for women's rights [2], or publishing think pieces on feminism and the female body. But one aspect of her life that she's kept mostly out of the spotlight — at least until recently — is her romantic life [3].
Despite being a large public figure, the "My Body" author has only had a select number of relationships in the past. And after her split from her ex-husband, Sebastian Bear-McClard, she's been recently enjoying the dating scene [4]. She explained to Variety [5] in October 2022, "I'm newly single for basically the first time in my life ever, and I just feel like I'm kind of enjoying the freedom of not being super worried about how I'm being perceived."
Last year, Ratajkowski was briefly linked to comedian Pete Davidson [6], who split from ex-girlfriend Kim Kardashian [7] in August 2022. In February, Ratajkowski was reportedly seeing comedian Eric André. But in late March, she was spotted kissing [8] pop star Harry Styles in Japan. Andrew Dryden (2013-2014)
Though not much is known about Ratajkowski's first public boyfriend, we do know that the pair dated sometime from 2013 until early 2014. The two split in February of that year; Ratajkowski allegedly told people she was single at various Super Bowl parties. When asked for a comment, Dryden told Page Six [10], "Sorry, I don't want to talk about it."
Jeff Magid (2014-2018)
The same year Ratajkowski split from Dryden, she was romantically linked to LA-based musician and music producer Jeff Magid. According to The Scottish Sun [11], the pair were first spotted in December 2014 and continued dating until January 2018, when their conflicting work schedules got in the way of their relationship. A source revealed to The New York Daily News [12] at the time, "Jeff is an incredibly successful music producer and is working around the country. Emily, too, is seeing her career boom, so their business success[es] did not help them spend much time together."
Sebastian Bear-McClard (2018-2022)
Following her breakup with Magid, Ratajkowski fell for Sebastian Bear-McClard, a movie producer, in February 2018. Just two weeks after they started dating, the couple said "I do [13]" in a New York City courthouse. Ratajkowski revealed the news on her Instagram Story, writing, "Sooo, I have a surprise. I got married today," along with a number of posts from the casual ceremony.
The pair kept their relationship private for the next two years. But in October 2020, Ratajkowski announced they were expecting their first child [14] together in a digital cover story with Vogue [15]. "I'm completely and undeniably helpless when it comes to almost everything surrounding my pregnancy: how my body will change, who my child will be. But I'm surprisingly unbothered. Instead of feeling afraid, I feel a new sense of peace. I'm already learning from this person inside my body. I'm full of wonder," she explained. In March 2021, the "Gone Girl" actor revealed on Instagram that her baby [16], Sylvester Apollo Bear, was born.
Just a little over a year after the birth of their first child, Ratajkowski and Bear-McClard hit a rough patch and went their separate ways [17] in July 2022. According to a source with Page Six [18], Bear-McClard allegedly cheated on Ratajkowski, which led the "Entourage" actor to file for divorce. In a November 2022 interview with Harper's Bazaar [19], Ratajkowski touched on her divorce, saying, "I feel anger, sadness. I feel excitement. I feel joy. I feel levity. Every day is different. The only good thing I know is that I'm feeling all those things, which is nice because it makes me believe that I'll be okay."
Pete Davidson (November 2022-Present)
In November 2022, Ratajkowski sparked romance rumours with Davidson after Twitter gossip account DeuxMoi shared an anonymous text [20] from someone claiming they saw the two on a date in Brooklyn. Us Weekly [21] later confirmed the budding romance, and a source revealed to the outlet that the pair were indeed dating. "Pete and Emily have been talking for a couple months now," the source claimed. The insider also added that, at the time, the two were "in the very early stages, but both really like each other."
The pair were spotted together several times shortly after their relationship was confirmed, [22] including an outing on Davidson's 29th birthday on 16 Nov., a Friendsgiving event on 23 Nov., and a New York Knicks game on 27 Nov. However, in December, Us Weekly [23] reported, per a source, that Ratajkowski and Davidson called it quits, noting that their split was amicable.
Eric André (January 2023–February 2023)
Ratajkowski seemingly moved on to a new comedian in early January after TMZ [24] published photos of her out on a date with Eric André. According to TMZ, the two "enjoyed a romantic evening" together on 7 Jan. in New York City. Photos of the two showed them cozied up before reportedly hitting up a midtown Japanese hotspot called Sakagura. Then, on 25 Jan., Page Six [25] published photos of the pair showing some PDA on a beach in the Cayman Islands. Reps for André and the model did not respond to POPSUGAR's initial requests for comment, but a source reportedly told Page Six that "it seemed like a fun friends-with-benefits situation." On 10 Feb., however, André and Ratajkowski were seen together in Manhattan once again, this time walking around the West Village.
Harry Styles (March 2023–Present)
It's unclear whether Styles and Ratajkowski are dating or simply hanging out. But in late March, the pair were spotted kissing in Tokyo as seen in photos and a video obtained by the Daily Mail [26]. POPSUGAR reached out to their reps for comment but did not receive an immediate response.
