The Chicago native attended Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD). After graduating, he started out as an assistant editor [8] before moving into advertising. He worked for four years before he had enough money to create his film Uncle John and premiere it at SXSW in 2015.
He's a Director/Producer
Since Uncle John, Steven has directed episodes of SyFy's Channel Zero (2017), Hulu's The Act (2019), and Briarpatch (2019-2020) starring Rosario Dawson [9]. He was a consulting producer for 2018's Nightflyer and a co-executive producer for both The Act and Briarpatch.
